Be a Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of the Special Olympics movement.
We’re so happy you want to join our team!
Volunteers are coaches, trainers, officials, event organizers, fundraisers, and managers. They can also be Unified Partners – playing alongside athletes with intellectual disabilities – or fans cheering in the stands. Volunteers can earn student service hours. Workplace volunteers can often earn leave and/or matching monetary donations for their time.
Visit the Volunteer Roles page on the Special Olympics Virginia website for details.
SOVA Loudoun is always looking for coaches, assistants and volunteers to work with our athletes, and others to help in other ways. Contact email@example.com if you would like to volunteer.
Thanks for volunteering with Special Olympics! The Special Olympics Virginia Volunteer Resources page links to many of our commonly used applications, forms, and trainings.
