We will receive $50 for every volunteer. You can register to handout water, fill goody bags, be a course marshal, assist with registration, and many other things. Supervised children age 10 and over qualify. Put a team together with your family, neighbors, and friends and have a great time at a water station and your time earns Special Olympics Loudoun County great donations. We have 150 positions to fill and you may register for more than position so long as they do not overlap. Athletes are encourage to volunteer for this event as well.

Each January, Special Olympics Virginia bowlers from across the state meet in Northern Virginia to go for the gold at our Winter Bowling Championships.
Bowlers, coaches, family, and friends are also invited to attend FanQuest on Saturday night at Robinson Secondary School to watch local Special Olympics high school basketball teams go head to head, followed by a Victory Dance and Olympic Town. Registered Bowling Championships participants (athletes, coaches, and chaperones) will receive dinner at the high school.

Gentle Giants - Catoctin Elementary School - 9:30 and 10:30 AM
Online registration is strongly encouraged but if you can’t register online, download a printable pledge/registration form and bring it on event day.

Shuttles + Parking: Parking at Tim’s Rivershore Restaurant is very limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking also will be available at John Paul the Great High School (17700 Dominican Dr, Dumfries, VA 22026). This lot is about 2 miles away and is on the way to Tim’s Rivershore (just like the old satellite lot, if you've attended in year's past). There will be signage and staff to direct people and shuttles will be available from that lot to the Plunge from 10 am until after the plunge. Please add on an additional 20 minutes to your trip to accommodate any shuttle delays.

Don't miss a moment of our annual Basketball Championships in Stafford, including the GEICO All-Star Friday Night basketball challenge, athlete and coach shootouts, the Victory Dance, plus skills, half court, and full court action all day Saturday.
